More about Kriston’s F&B and Merchandise outlets at the Singapore Pavilion
Having helmed the F&B and merchandising outlets in the Singapore Pavilion at the World Expo 2005 in Aichi Japan, Kriston believes it will bring value to Singapore as the company is able to tap on this experience as well as its experience in large scale events in Singapore and overseas, to deliver excellent Singapore cuisine and merchandise with appeal to the World Expo visitors.

Singapore Food Offerings at the World Expo 2010
Laksa, Otah, Ayam Panggang, Kueh Pie Tee are a hit with the Chinese visitors at the World Expo. They love the creamy spicy Laksa gravy, the freshly grilled flavourful Ayam Panggang, and the mouthwatering Nyonya style-braised turnip in the little golden Pie Tee cups – dishes not commonly found in Shanghai. Kriston’s very own comfort food - chicken curry lemak rice pot - is also a surprise favourite ! Jacquie’s favourite moment is when she sees visitors drinking up and emptying the laksa bowl. 

Regular visitors to our food kiosk are participants from the other Pavilions. They return to savour the different Singaporean dishes offered – with our curries and naans being a particular favourite with westerners. What sets our food apart from most food outlets at the Pavilions are that they are made fresh, and cooked at our very own kitchen in our little kiosk. No airplane food at Taste of Singapore! Chef Stanley and his team are there each night from 11pm till the next day, making sure that the different dishes are freshly cooked for the day. Committed, passionate, fun – our Shanghai team welcomes with Singapore hospitality and service at our F&B and Merchandise kiosks! Click here to see the World Expo photo gallery.

Liu Lian Xiao Xing Memorabilia and other Singapore brands at the World Expo
Liu Lian Xiao Xing (Singapore's Mascot) stuffed toy flew off the shelf on the first day of the Expo – we were surprised, and wished that we had brought more than the 100 pieces for that day’s sale. No worries, there are more limited edition LLXX memorabilia to come! RISIS accessories fascinate the Chinese visitors – especially when they find out that each piece is an actual flower plated in gold and is unique! Looks like RISIS will need to set up a permanent shop in Shanghai after the Expo! The team can’t wait to see how the other Singapore brands will fare in our Merchandise kiosk!
